Synaptix Systems Leads Information Technology Infrastructure Projects for Global Entertainment Systems Customer
LADERA RANCH, California – August 20, 2012 – Synaptix Systems Inc., a leading strategy and solutions firm that helps clients understand & maximize return on their information technology (IT) and project investments, today announced the successful delivery of three key IT Infrastructure projects for a $4B publicly-traded (NYSE) global Entertainment Systems customer.
As part of the customer’s push into Asian and European markets, an increasingly geographically distributed IT platform became necessary to support growth. This global footprint kick-started a number of system improvement initiatives, including but not limited to:
- Deployment of CISCO System Center and Configuration Manager (SCCM) across the enterprise
- Upgrade of VMware Virtualization platform for managing servers and applications
- IT Security enhancements to mitigate risks identified during Corporate Audit
Synaptix Systems managed these projects to successful on-time and on-budget completion, enabling our customer to realize numerous benefits. The CISCO SCCM system replaced an outdated application and is underway toward a five year, $800K business value. The VMware vSphere 5.0 upgrade involved 45 locations worldwide and will deliver a financial benefit of $1.3M over two years. The improvements to IT Security infrastructure are enabling a business benefit of $1.2M while also addressing mandatory Audit items.
