Synaptix Systems Leads Successful Portal Project for Fortune 50 Healthcare Customer
ALISO VIEJO, California – January 24, 2009 – Synaptix Systems Inc., a leading strategy and solutions firm that helps clients understand & maximize return on their information technology (IT) and project investments, today announced the successful delivery of a major Web Portal project for a Fortune 50 Healthcare industry client.
Synaptix Systems’ project management expertise and resources were leveraged throughout the 15 month, $12M on-budget effort aimed at developing and launching two portals — one internet portal for interacting with the company’s 4M+ member consumers and an extranet portal for interacting with healthcare professionals. The member portal facilitates online consumer prescription refills and order status updates, while the healthcare professional’s portal enables these partners to better manage pharmacy orders.
Now that both portals have been launched, Synaptix Systems’ customer will immediately begin to realize numerous benefits. The member portal will enable (a) member consumers to save time in (re)filling prescriptions and (b) Synaptix Systems’ healthcare customer to improve efficiencies (and thus reduce ongoing costs) in handling pharmacy transactions. The portal for healthcare professionals will similarly create a streamlined user experience for these professionals in managing orders/transactions, thus reducing operating expenses and allowing for an increase in revenue-producing transactions over any given time period.
