Synaptix Systems Provides Project Management Expertise for Fortune 50 Healthcare Customer’s Service and Support Initiatives

LADERA RANCH, California – February 29, 2012 – Synaptix Systems Inc., a leading strategy and solutions firm that helps clients understand & maximize return on their information technology (IT) and project investments, today announced the successful implementation of a suite of Member Service & Support applications for a Fortune 50 Healthcare organization.

After a number of large-scale company acquisitions over the past five years, Synaptix Systems’ client was faced with a customer (member) base that had become increasingly segmented along lines such as medical care needs, geographic location, language preference, and even technology inclination. As a result, the client’s Member Service & Support software applications had also become less effective in meeting the needs of both members and internal customer service agents. Subscriber members had begun to look for a wider variety of options to obtain timely and accurate information on their health plans, and customer service needed to remain effective in the face of increasing cost constraints.

The client turned to Synaptix Systems to manage a set of projects aimed at enhancing and extending its Member Service & Support tools. These projects ranged from developing new multi-language member-facing websites to building enhanced web-based member self-service capabilities to implementing new internal-facing customer service software.

With the projects’ first and second major releases having been successfully completed, Synaptix Systems’ client is already realizing a number of incremental benefits, including:

  • Lower overall cost of care per member
  • An increase in revenue-generating opportunities driven by the capability to better understand the member’s unique needs and healthcare data dependencies
