Synaptix Systems Provides Project Management Leadership for $40B Financial Services Customer’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Initiative

ALISO VIEJO, California – February 27, 2007 – Synaptix Systems Inc., a leading strategy and solutions firm that helps clients understand & maximize return on their information technology (IT) and project investments, today announced the successful project management of a key phase in the overall delivery of a $40B financial services client’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) effort.

As part of its continued focus on streamlining operations and capturing process efficiencies, Synaptix Systems’ customer had undertaken a major initiative to outsource certain Financial, Procurement and Human Resources processes. As part of this program, Synaptix Systems managed the project to deliver a newly integrated system (along with related business process improvements) that administered the Procure-to-Pay business process thread.

Synaptix Systems teamed with the client’s BPO and Program Management Office (PMO) leadership teams to successfully implement the complex system, which featured numerous interfaces between the client’s internal Financial applications and an outsourced platform based on Ariba’s software product offering. Furthermore, the client has gone on to leverage Synaptix Systems Project Management and Analysis resources for several related projects under the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) umbrella.
